Welcome to Hello Sussex

Sussex consists of two counties in the south of England encompassing an area of over 1,460 sq miles. East Sussex and West Sussex sit between an expanse of rolling hills and countryside to the north and 75 miles of beautiful coastline to the south.

Sandwiched between the two is the High Weald, a designated Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty. Packed with pretty medieval villages, seaside towns, beaches, castles, vineyards, museums, galleries and stately homes, Sussex even has an Indian-style palace!

Sussex coastal resorts are some of the sunniest places in the UK.

The South Downs Way runs for 100 miles (160 Km) through the middle of the two counties following old paths and droveways. The route takes hikers through the rolling hills of the South Downs, along chalk escarpments and along the Sussex Heritage Coast.

Whether you’re planning a holiday to Sussex, a city break to Brighton, a vineyard stay or a hike across the South Downs, Hello Sussex is here to help you discover the best of the area.
